Giving Back

One thing that jumps into my head as I spend so much time on myself is how can I help others?

At the start when I was wondering around the Cancer Clinic we found the wall of 'free' wigs and hats for Cancer patients.  I noticed that there were no fleece hats available.  As winter was approaching I asked the volunteer coordinator what is needed.  She said that the 'fleece' hats were few and men's hats are also rare.  So I got on my sewing machine and with the help of friends and family supplying me with fleece I have made over 50 hats for donating.  As I continue to make more I have found the need for the fleece hats not as much as originally anticipated.  There are many groups making hats for the centre. I will continue to make about 10 a week and donate them but...

So what does that mean? I am on the search for new opportunities to help others.  We will see where my search leads me and any ideas would be appreciated.
