Travelling the high wire of life...are we there yet? |
is that when I put all the stuff on facebook and my blog is that I'm bragging about what I'm doing. That would bother me to the core if people thought that I was doing that. I just get so excited when I get to do things and love to share my excitement with people. But somehow I need to make sure I'm not trying to be better than anyone else. I know I'm not, I don't try to seem that way and I need to change my writing style if it comes across that way...yep, some days are like the 'old' Victoria, let's see what should I worry about today. ;-) At least that grumpy lady from the ferry is WAYYYYY back in my mind now...
Today was an OK day. I seem to be having some tummy troubles, feeling like eating is a struggle, especially with metal mouth and I actually took 3 naps today crazy! Perhaps it's just my body doing catch up from the last couple weeks, at least that's what I'm hoping. Listening to what my body is telling me gets easier every day, some days just as you do, you have to ignore your body and 'suck it up buttercup' until you have the time to listen but most days I get to hear my cranky body being bossy and telling me what to do.
My journal writing table...did I tell you about my fire? LOL |
Are you listening to yours? What was it trying to tell you today? Will you listen to it tomorrow? Was it hungry and you filled it with 'pretend' food, that is fast food, frozen food and/or caffeine? Now remember not to tell your hubby or boyfriend that we will now listen to what are bodies are telling us and try to fulfill what it wants...cause we all know what guys brains and bodies are telling them 99% of the day, ewwwwww.
Hey where did that double chin come from? oh yeah food! |
Remember if when your brain is telling you one thing and your body is telling you to do another it's your body that is right! In our do-do-do society sometimes it hard to remember that doing nothing is just as important as doing something. Wouldn't it be nice if we could make the doing something balance with the doing nothing. Imagine 50% of your day just spent sitting and enjoying your home, your family and your life.
A quiet day today of a little hammering, a little laundry, a few dishes and a whole lot of cat naps. When was the last time you took a cat nap during the day...or do you prefer dog naps! LOL
