see..I wore moomoo's way back in 2001 |
I was wondering in the backyard with My Dudley this am and wondering what one thing would I keep doing when I am ALL better?
There is no way I would be able to pick just one thing but I can list the things that I believe have made the most impact on the way I feel...
There is no way I would be able to pick just one thing but I can list the things that I believe have made the most impact on the way I feel...
- power smoothie in the am[carrot juice, oj, hemp seeds, flax seeds, vitamin D drops and ice]
- wheat grass juice in the pm
- Tai Chi
- Mindful living/meditation
- Exercises on my mini trampoline
- tons of fruit and vegy's
- my homemade lactose free yogurt
I think that these things have made the most difference in my attitude and my energy level on a daily basis. I still have bad days as everyone does but I can't believe that making such minor changes in my life could make such a difference. It doesn't happen overnight. It takes awhile for all to kick in but man 'it feels good'!
Of course you can't list the things you wouldn't change without listing the things you would.
The things I will change when I get ALL better...
- seeing my kids and grandkids more often
- driving more
- travelling
- seeing my friends more often
So there you have it. There is more on the wouldn't change list than the will change list. I would say that this is a good sign for sure. That the changes I have made are things that could have and should have changed before life turned inside out. All those things were on my wish list to change but I was never successful.
So if you get a chance, try some of these things...I dare ya! Give it some time and see if you feel the difference. If I feel better going through chemo and all the meds imagine how great they will make you feel. Can you picture yourself drinking that green juice everyday? LOL But of course you MUST enjoy every day to the most and be sure to smile at someone and make their day. Life's too short not to spread some joy!
