Never Underestimate The Power of 'One'

Purple Ladybug (that's me) believes in the strong power of 'ONE'...one person, one smile, one hug or ? All it takes is 'ONE' thing to happen during your day to change the way you feel, it may be amazing or even heartbreaking. We face many 'ONE's each and every day, so join me as I take my future 'ONE' day at a time and write about my journey as a cancer conquerer and the 'ONE's in my daily life.

One full body car restoration.

one tired doggie!
and they say woman can't do restorations.  Well I'm doing it! That is my own personal full body restoration from the inside out...
If you checked under my hood you would find a healthy lifestyle and a brain that is working pretty good. LOL

the whole crew in jammies!
Christmas was over the top wonderful. Big kids, little kids, doggies and lots of yummy yummy food.  There were so many moments I can't begin to list them all, I would be banned off the google bloggers if I started. But I will post a few pics from our Christmas...it was hard to only pic a few.

They say when men restore cars they become their babies. Well my body is mine right now and today I am babying it! A relaxed day in a bed heated with a new electric blanket...so cozy.  That is one thing I do miss about our waterbed the warmth of the heater.  My doggy is sooo tired, he has been sleep'n beside me today too.  I think the 101 times he fetched his new toys when the kiddo's threw them has given him new aches and pains. LOL

hanging out!
One thing guys like about restoring old cars is that you can work on everything.  Not like the new ones.  Thats like me...I'm an old model but I have been working on everything and even my brain is starting to cooperate.  I still have stalls once and awhile but I can work on it.  Anything is fixable...we will soon find that out!

So my restoration is still 'in progress' and will always be but at least I know that I have choices and the opportunity to try different things if something is not working.  I am feeling so good that I know I'm doing something right!  Its probably that green gas I keep putting in the engine, you know 'wheat grass' juice! LOL

  1. I think my favourite part of the evening was watching Halcie 'help'! :) It sure brought back memories for me of the other girls at that age and how much they have grown! The picture is priceless - you are such an awesome Gramma!

It may be when we no longer know what to do, we have come to our real work, and that when we no longer know which way to go, we have begun our real journey.
